Dec. 2024, City of Pacific Grove: A court-ordered consent decree mandated the City to improve accessibility for specific sidewalks and crosswalks, ensuring safer navigation for pedestrians with disabilities.
Nov. 2024, Arco Gas Station, San Jose: The defendant agreed to improve accessibility by providing accessible pathways, parking, entrance and exit doors for the mini-market, and an accessible interior aisle within the mini-market.
Jul. 2024, Hampton Inn Los Angeles International Airport/Hawthorne: The hotel provided fully operable pool and whirlpool lifts for independent access by individuals with physical disabilities. Additionally, an accessible loading zone was established at the entrance, and accessible parking was provided along the shortest route to the hotel.
Jul. 2024, Strip Mall, San Jose: Defendants agreed to construct a new ramp from the public right-of-way, enabling seamless wheelchair access from the sidewalk to the strip mall’s stores.
May 2024, City of Monterey: A court-enforceable settlement was reached, requiring the City to improve accessibility at various intersections and pathways to ensure safe and equitable travel for all residents.
Mar. 2024, Hotel, Los Angeles County: The hotel agreed to install and maintain pool lifts for wheelchair users, provide an accessible lowered check-in counter, and ensure accessible parking spaces to enhance guest accessibility.
Feb. 2024, Residential Facility, Studio City: Defendants committed to ensuring adequate cooling in the lobby by installing a new HVAC unit, accommodating residents with heat-related disabilities.
Feb. 2024, Olla Cocina Restaurant, San Jose: The restaurant enhanced accessibility by installing additional staircase railings to improve safety and access for all patrons.
Nov. 2023, Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport: Agreement to provide an accessible check-in counter, to maintain pool lifts, to install an automatic door opener for doors to/from pool, and to provide EV accessible parking.
Oct. 2023, Ocean Lodge Motel, Santa Cruz: Judgment ordering defendant to provide compliant wheelchair signage and access to, from, and within its front office and wheelchair-accessible rooms.
Oct. 2023, Double Dragon Restaurant, Antioch: Agreement to provide accessible ramp, truncated domes, proper signage, and accessible doors.
Jul. 2023 Residential Community, Sacramento: Homeowners Association agreed to install a pool lift at a community pool.
May 2023, Apartment Complex, San Francisco: Agreement to improve elevator reliability to ensure that wheelchair users have access to their apartments.
Mar. 2023, City of Belmont: Court order ensuring that the City of Belmont will not remove street accessible parking spaces next to plaintiff’s home.
Feb. 2023, Apartment Complex, Alameda: Agreement to improve access to tenant’s restroom and improve access to the common area laundry room.
Feb. 2023, Apartment Complex, Santa Cruz: Court order to improve wheelchair access to the residential facility’s parking lot and the leasing office.
Jan. 2023, Restaurant, San Jose: Agreement to improve wheelchair access in the parking lot and the restaurant’s interior.
Nov. 2022, Alameda Park, Santa Barbara: Court ordered settlement requiring City of Santa Barbara to improve wheelchair access to Alameda Park, including new accessible street parking.
Nov. 2022, Medical Center, Bay Area: Agreement to improve policies and training on disabled access to their MRI machines.
Sep. 2022, Gym, San Leandro: Agreement to provide accessible entrance/exit doors for wheelchair users.
Sep. 2022, Residential Facility, Belmont: Court order requiring Defendants for disabled resident to have a service animal at his home and refraining from any further steps to evict the disabled resident for failure to pay a deposit for his service animal.
Aug. 2022, Transportation Provider (Buses), Bay Area: New ADA compliant service animal policy and training of employees.
Jul. 2022, Sidewalks/Intersections in City of Soledad: The City agreed to improve wheelchair access at various sidewalks/intersections.
Jul. 2022, Lane’s Baits, San Jose: Defendants agreed to improve wheelchair access to their store.
Jun. 2022, Costanoa Campground, Pescadero: Implementation of training programs to provide additional information and safeguards regarding ADA issues and procedures. Defendants also modified their policies for the number of vehicles allowed at the campground to improve access to persons with disabilities.

Nov. 2021, Apartment Complex, San Jose: Installation of a new wheelchair lift to improve access. November 2021.
Nov. 2021, The Landing at Morro Bay: New ADA compliant service animal policy and training of employees. November 2021.
Oct. 2021, Pacific Beach House, Half Moon Bay: Defendants agreed to implement a new service animal policy, including training, to ensure that persons with disabilities who rely on a service animal are provided equal access to the hotel. October 2021.
Aug. 2021, City of Campbell (John D. Morgan Park): The City of Campbell agreed to provide an accessible men’s restroom, parking, and paths of travel. August 2021.
Aug. 2021, Bite of Wyoming, San Jose: Agreement to improve access in the interior with tenant, and judgment against landlords including court order to improve wheelchair access in the parking lot.
Mar. 2021, Roundtable Pizza, San Jose: Defendants agreed to provide accessible parking and entrance door.
Feb. 2021, Pacifica State Beach, Pacifica: Defendants remediated an inaccessible path of travel next to the beach.
Feb. 2021, Santa Clara County Superior Court (Hall of Justice and Homestead Rd): Defendants agreed provide accessible doors, proper signage, and accessible parking (Civil Center Public Parking).
Dec. 2020, Medical Office, Stockton: Defendants agreed to remedy inaccessible doors, exam room, restroom, hallway, parking, and paths of travel.
Oct. 2020, City of Sacramento (Miller Park): The City agreed to provide accessible restrooms and parking spaces.
Aug. 2020, Hotel, Palm Desert: Defendants agreed to improve their reservation system for persons with disabilities including allowing a guest with disabilities to reserve any type of available accessible guest room through their reservation system.
Aug. 2020, City of Roseville: Negotiated a settlement which resulted in the City improving wheelchair access at an intersection.
Aug. 2020, Mona’s Burgers, Clayton: Defendant remediated inaccessible doors and provided proper braille signage.
May 2020, Residential Facility, San Jose: Defendants agreed to provide an assigned parking space at their residential facility to disabled tenant’s caregiver. Defendants remediated various accessibility barriers in the common areas.
Oct. 2019, Arby’s, San Jose: Obtained an injunction requiring Defendant to provide accessible seating, parking, cashier counter, and woman’s restroom.
Sep. 2019, Motel, Berkeley: Defendants agreed to provide exterior and interior paths that are accessible to persons that are blind/visually impaired.
May 2019, Private Bus Company: Defendant agreed to improve their online reservation system for passengers with disabilities that may need accommodations for a trip, including providing adequate information on how to request accommodations.
Jan. 2019, Residential Facility, Walnut Creek: Defendants agreed to provide wheelchair access to the building’s elevators by installing an entryway ramp.
May 2018, Executive Inn, Morgan Hill: Obtained an injunction requiring Defendants to provide accessible routes, parking, entrance/exit doors, pool/spa area, and business center.
May 2018, Movie Theater, Contra Costa County: Defendants agreed to provide additional training to their employees to ensure that employees are able to effectively communicate on how to use descriptive narration devices. Defendants also agreed to improve overall accessibility to the movie theater for blind patrons by providing adequate braille signage and accessible doors.
Apr. 2018, Airport Inn, San Jose: Defendants agreed to provide accessible parking, main entrance/exit doors, interior counters, and guest suites.
Jan. 2018, City of Campbell (Campbell Community Center): the City of Campbell agreed to provide accessible parking, accessible restrooms, and accessible fitness machines in the exercise area along the running track.
